AIO marks its significant 50^th assembly in Namibia from the 1^st of June to the 5^th of June 2024 in our capital, the City of Windhoek. The theme of the 50^th AIO conference is “Coping with rising natural catastrophe in Africa”. We look forward to hosting such a distinguished gathering focused on the evolution of the African insurance industry and dealing with the challenges we face with climate change.

Our country is graced with breath-taking landscapes and contrasting natural beauty. Be rest assured that Namibia will give you the desert experience with our enormous dunes, the earth’s valley experience with our amazing canyons and the safari experience with our abundance of wildlife. Namibia’s embrace extends beyond our landscapes; it encompasses the spirit of collaboration and the bravery that defines our people.

As we mark the half-century of the AIO conference, we believe we will catalyse change and uncover the solutions that will redefine the insurance landscape across our continent. The challenges before us are matched only by the opportunities they present.
