Tertius is the Group CEO of Sanlam Namibia Holdings and is responsible for the strategic and overall management of the Group in Namibia.
Tertius joined Sanlam Namibia in 1995 as Financial Manager and saw the Company grow from a mere Regional Office to a fully pledged financial service company. His experience and exposure to the business widen from finance to all operations including sales, marketing, IT and all different products and services. He was promoted to the position of Chief Operation Officer in 2001, and because of his perseverance, hard work and analytical skills he was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer in 2006, a position he occupies to date.
Tertius is an associate member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and he holds a BCom (Hons) and B Accounting degrees from the University of Stellenbosch. He also attended a Senior Executive Programme (SEP) at the WITS and Harvard business schools.
Tertius is currently the Vice Chairperson of the Namibia Savings & Investment Association (NaSIA).
